gem martini
Not so tini-tiny. Clear shades exaggerated trumpet flare in handblown glass. These scream party. -Handblown glass -Dramatic flared shape -Hand washInternet only.

I bought this martini glass for decorational purposes. I filled the glass with colored coordinated jelly beans according to what holiday we are celebrating ie: red for Christmas. It looks very elegent on my coffee table. Love it.

Jump outta the box and think of all the uses these GREAT Martinis actually have. Too big for a truly fine cocktail as it would loose it's critical chill long before it could safely be imbibed, these are perfect for desserts, for ices, for sorbets, for morning fruit with a dab of homade yogurt...
Why is everyone so darn conventional, anyway!?!
Well constructed, sturdy, these will hold up nicely to the use I have described. They are fun and the price is as unsual, EXCELLENT!!!

Solid, Large, Great Glass

This is a very well made, large martini glass. I bought them for a friend who had been searching for a while for a large martini glass (please note while this glass is only an inch or so taller than a standard martini glass, the rim is significantly wider). It has a nice thick stem and base, but it still has a nice look to it; distinctive with a hint of elegance.

Although I was aware of the 12 oz. size from the description, they were much larger than expected. I agree with another reviewer that they are comically large. Not elegant in any way.

I got these as well for myself and they are so fine and great for a cocktail party all my friend fell in love with them. They are not to big or to small they are perfect.

Tiny martini glasses are a pet peeve of mine, and when I found the gem martini glasses at CB2 I was so happy to actually have a glass that can hold a full cocktail. You don't have to refill and re-mix your drink every 5 min and the trumpet flare gives it a little extra personality outside the the box of the traditional martini glass shape. I highly recommend these glasses for any martini connoisseur.

To be fair the product description should have been warning enough for everything I had issues with. However, despite knowing that they were 12 oz glasses, I still was disappointed with how big they were. It was almost comical how big they were. Also, there were small imperfections and bubbles in the glasses. Hand blown at this price means you shouldn't expect perfect, but I've seen cheep hand blown martini glasses that looked much better. I expected more from CB2 and had to return them.

These have been fun and popular martini glasses for guests. They are a little larger than I expected, so people tend to overdo it a little. Perfect!
My cat did knock one over and break it.. So they're mildly fragile.
