Very cheap - hard to tell from photo
Date: 03/15/2010
Product was damaged when received because it's poorly made.....the metal is so thin it bends with very little pressure. I can't imagine stacking lots of bottles in them, the box isn't deep enough for bottles to be secure. Pricey to return, so don't bother!!

My wine looks happy!
Date: 02/03/2010
Love the wine racks. They look great in my classic bungalow house. Getting them was a challenge - one arrived in perfect condition the other was a bit beat up. We had to drive to Hollywood to get another so the whole I idea of avoiding traffic didn't work. Customer Service was wonderful! Like the other reviews, I wish the metal was a heavier gauge. The price is a bit high for the quality, but they look fabulous!

Great Purchase
Date: 01/07/2010
Guess what? I bought three wine racks to store my yarn skeins and they work!! I will buy one more because that is all the room I have in my small office/guest room, etc. They look great and eliminates a lot of clutter. I am thrilled.

not as sturdy as expected but good for storage
Date: 12/03/2009
I bought one rack to put inside the Acacia mini bar. I am actually happy that it's inside a furniture, otherwise, I would have returned the item. I agree that it is very practical to stack 12 bottles but I find the metal to be very thin and it bends easily.

Simple, Convenient but Expensive
Date: 10/16/2009
The design is very simple and the product is well-made. Easily stackable.
I feel that the price is a bit high for a divided sheet-metal box, especially if one wanted to use a large number of these for a wine closet.

decoration and storage at the same time
Date: 10/04/2009
this rack fulfills my requirements ;useful and decorative.
And it's also easy to handle and stack many of them together. Goes well with not only modern but also classic furniture together.
Only one thing to mention, the edge of rack is little bit sharp and don't want to recommend to family has little kids.

custom-fit wine storage
Date: 09/16/2009
These wine racks actually provided inspiration when i designed and built my own little wine bar in a closet space. I spaced shelving precisely so these great racks fit snuggly in between.
The industrial gunmetal is sleek and sharp, and the racks do indeed hold mucho vino. great item for any space.
My only (small) complaint is the gauge/thinness of the crates. While it is still a very sturdy product to hold bottles, the photos make it look a little heavier, so i was expecting more metal for the price. They are basically like sheet metal. Small surprise but in the end i don't love them any less. great product.

Best counter size storage option out currently. I would have preferred it to be made of wood, but it looks great and I like the color.

Love these!
Date: 08/11/2009
I bought three and stacked them in the corner of my dining room. I store liquor bottles in them as well and now I have a full bar at my fingertips in a little bit of space. It isn't obvious in the pictures but there are "locking" grooves in the frame that keeps it sturdy.

great look & perfect fit
Date: 03/29/2009
honestly, attractive and inexpensive wine racks are rare. The galvanized steel color has sophisticated appeal and these are strong and sturdy; modular units create display and storage possibilities. The size fit perfectly in my mid-century book/storage unit; I have two sitting side by side on open shelf, it's sleek looking and practical at the same time. Best is that you can purchase more for a growing wine collection!

Good for storage
Date: 03/19/2009
I was looking for a good wine rack since I was storing my wine in cardboard boxes in my closet. As others mentioned, the racks are not quite as sturdy as the description makes it sound (I would be nervous to stack them 5 high). I was most surprised that they weren't very deep, but for storing in the closet they certainly fulfill their purpose.

'Less is more...'
Date: 03/19/2009
I've used this wine rack in my own home and have suggested it for many other restaurant and home installations.
The simplicity of the design makes it infinitely flexible in a wide range of settings.

Nice style, not very sturdy
Date: 03/13/2009
I agree with the other reviews. We bought two of these to stack next to our bar. They look great but we don't put 12 bottles in each because the top crate leans forward a little and we're afraid it might tip.
Also, the CB2 photo shows them stacked to the ceiling, while they recommend only stacking 5 high ??
I would recommend this if you have fewer than 20 bottles (total in 2 crates) to store. Otherwise, I'd look for something more sturdy

good in multiples
Date: 11/12/2008
I bought 4 of these and really love how they look on top of my armoire. I only wish that the outer panels had a more reinforced edge, like the center "cross" does. The outside is a little too easy to bend. Fortunately, these aren't too "perfect," so the slight differences seem like part of the charm...

Wobbly
Date: 11/12/2008
These racks are not perfectly square or flat, they're also not that deep (the depth is about 2-3 inches less than the average length of a wine bottle), and so they tend to wobble a little, which makes stacking them a precarious situation.
I definitely wouldn't try to stack more than 2 or 3 high without rigging up some anchoring solution first.

Stylish, But Not Sturdy
Date: 11/12/2008
I purchased a set of four of the cellar wine racks, to be stacked to accomodate my growing wine collection. While I love the color and style of the item, they aren't as sturdy as I had hoped. The sheet metal is thinner than expected, and there are some waves/dips in the construction. I did keep the items, and they look great, but I have been very careful/cautious when stacking or removing wine from them because of the lack of stability.
