We received these little guys as a wedding gift, and they have turned out to be surprisingly handy. I usually don't use bookends because they don't work very well but these, despite seeming rather slight, are sturdy and strong. We're using them to hold our LPs on a shelf, and they haven't let us down!

They are very cute, but I had a hard time making them hold the books. I never touch them because the books fall each time I do... They should have been much heavier. But they do look really nice.

I love these bookends. I like the shadow beneath them. I think that is an awesome Idea. I use them for books but also as a accent piece. Love this product

So far, no complaints. I was worried about these guys holding up the weight of larger books, and so far I've not had a single problem. Well designed, and look great!

I love these bookends. They are hip and they are functional. That combo is hard to find at such a great price! I live in an old art deco building where I try to mix retro and modern. These bookends are both. I am so happy I made the purchase!

I had been looking for bookends for some of my larger books for awhile, and finally find these! I purchased the white ones and they look great in my office/loft...very unique! They hold about 6 large books. Only problem was when i slid them over on my wood desk they scratched a bit. Softer material on the bottoms would be nice, but overall great purchase.

A Great Conversation Piece

We actually bought these "bookend" people to use as door stops, since we're on the 12 floor of a high rise and when our balcony doors are open it can sometimes get very windy in here. These little guys are perfect and they look really cute down on the floor trying to hold a gigantic door open. Everyone who sees them mentions how cute they are. Very unique and one of our favorite purchases from CB2!

I love these little guys, they came in handy when i ran out of space to put a bookshelf so i decided that i was going to put the books on my desk and of course i always look at CB2 for what they have. And this is what i found, they are sturdy and look gread on my desk. I get compliments on them from friends all the time.

Awesome unexpected design, but only for hardbacks

These are sturdy and very cool. I had to buy them because of the uniqueness. However, I think they're only heavy enough to hold up books that mostly hold up themselves. I use them for softback piano books that are floppy and tend fall over fairly often when I switch books in and out. I think the bookends would work well for hardcover books that don't get switched in and out often, though.

I had seen these bookends for a few months and loved them but had no where to put them. Finally I got a new bench for below my bay window to sit on and use as an extra shelf/storage. I use the bookends on one end to support just a small stack of carefully chosen books (and whatever I am currently reading) which they work perfectly for, and look great! I also purchased them for my cousin, an avid reader who lives on the other side of the country, and she loves them too!

These bookends are very cool. I have them on a back-lit glass bookcase that matches my home entertainment center. I use them to hold a line of my favorite DVD's. I have had many great comments from friends and one of my friends ordered a set for herself. I did have to put felt tabs on the bottom of each so they didn't scratch the furniture. Over all my shopping experience with CB2 was 5 stars.
