We purchased these carpet tiles for under our kitchen table. I was a little nervous about having carpet under our table, but it has worked out great! The carpet cleans up very nicely...crumbs, spills and everything else.

Great solution for entryway!
Date:02/16/2011
We purchased few of these tiles and placed them in our entryway. They are easy to clean, spills are not a problem, they do not move around, and are very durable. Had them for almost a year now and still look great. Great for snowy, rainy and muddy conditions, just pick up and shake out outside!

FLOR/Fedora Carpet Tiles - Perfect!
Date:04/06/2010
I purchased these for our bedroom, which had an area rug but most of it ended up underneath the bed. What was showing was horrible, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I also have beautiful wood floors that I didn't want to completely cover (SD winters necessitate carpeting!).
I purchased two tiles (walnut and the greenish color) to see if I would like them and which color to go with. They were perfect. Very thin, yet cushy. I decided since it was in our bedroom to add a carpet pad underneath, and did not use the stickers sent with the tiles.
There are directional arrows on the bottom, so there must be some kind of "nap", but I doubt anyone would notice if they were placed incorrectly. They cut easily and you don't even notice three tiles are half the size of the others.
If you are looking for an economical way to freshen up a room, I would definitely consider this product. It vacuums up well and so far as stood the test of two dogs. I can totally see these in a children's room, kitchen or bedroom.

Attracts Pet Hair & Lint
Date:04/06/2010
Purchased these for my baby to play on. They are great for a small space. My only complaint is that they attract lint and pet hair very easily, and are a bit of a pain to clean. I find it's easiest to use a lint roller to get everything off.

I understand concept of Flor tiles..
Date:09/26/2009
but honestly when I opened the package I was expecting something that resembled a rug! The fedora tiles remind me of a large 'car mat.' They are very thin and have more a mat-like feel and look than an actual rug. I will keep and use in intended space but probably would not have ordered if I'd seen beforehand.

Unexpected Quality
Date:09/03/2009
I was extremely adamant that I did not want this on my bathroom floor the first time I saw it. We had just moved into a much bigger apartment in San Francisco and both grimaced the first time we looked at the horrible tile that plagued our bathroom floor.
Being renters, we weren't about to rip up the floor, but we didn't want to have to look at the ugly tile everyday either. After looking around online my boyfriend came across the carpet tiles at CB2 and immediately had it in his mind that this would be the answer. I was worried about them getting wet from the shower and having to be replaced constantly. While the tiles are not expensive I didn't want to have to go buy replacement ones every few months.
We decided to give the tiles a chance sine it wouldn't be that expensive of an experiment. We laid the tile in the bathroom and even cut them to go around cabinets and fixtures which gave it a very professional look. They have been consistently wet and vacuumed without showing any sign of wear. The tiles have come in contact with bleach and have not discolored in the least!
We have had the tiles in our bathroom for almost a year now and it looks as good as the day we installed it.

Allergies and pets
Date:09/03/2009
Needed a long rug to cover area between a love seat and a chair. Couldn't be wool or have long continous fibers (wife is allergic and animals like to claw at it) the short nap worked great and the color selection was perfect for the room. Stay put very well on the hardwood floor without an additional backing as well. Pick up a couple extra tiles for the ocassional red wine spills and you won't have to worry about a thing.

Great for kids' rooms
Date:04/21/2009
Kids are so hard on their rooms and the Flor tiles work equally hard to maintain their good appearance. If accidents happen, a new Flor tile pops right into place. The initial installation requires precision but almost anyone can do it.

great price, exactly what we needed
Date:04/06/2009
We needed a small carpet for our very small bathroom and this fit the bill. It's extremely absorbent and matches great with our shower curtain! It's lasted months and months and hasn't shown any wear!

convenient for odd space
Date:12/02/2008
I was looking for a rug for a galley kitchen for a long time. The criteria were that it would fit the space, be easy to vacuum and that the color would go well with my red wall. The Fedora tiles are convenient because you can choose how large a space you are going to cover. The pieces are attached with stickers, which takes some careful alignment. I chose charcoal which first looked a little severe. Because the colors in website are not very accurate, I did not dare to pick the red because it may not have mached the wall color. Overall, I am satisfied with the product.

Great color nice price
Date:11/17/2008
I like this color because it cant get dirty with light or dark stuff. The texture is nice too. It is not too think if you are looking for something cushy though and I would stick to all one type of these to keep your floor flat so if you get one fedora, stick with fedora's!! No toy poodles mixed in:)
