heyday four-drawer chest

New slant. Exaggerated louver design adds shadow, depth, interest to clean ensemble in wenge stained ash veneer. Design carries through in case goods with drawer fronts overlapped to open minus hardware. Surprise, drawer interiors are a cool black melamine. Consider storage in living and dining room, too? •Vertical-grain ash veneer over wood composite •Drawer fronts with hardware-free slat design •Wenge stain with clear lacquer finish •Clean with soft, dry cloth

Nice looking product but doesn't last long. 9/7/09
This dresser is very nice looking but after owning it for about 4 months the hinge on one of the drawers is falling apart. I cannot close it at all now. For this price it should last a lot longer than this, and there are no warranties.

Great storage with style 9/3/09
Great deep drawers, makes storage of bulky items like sweaters or blankets really easy. Even high enough off the floor if you're really strapped for storage room that more can be stored underneath.

Also so easy to put together, that it only took about 30 minutes to put together the dresser plus two bedside tables. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful piece of furniture! 7/17/09
This is just a beautiful dresser, and the geometry of the drawer fronts make it a very interesting piece for my room. The color is fantastic and rich, and the wood grain looks great. It is a heavy, high quality dresser.

I did accidentally screw one drawer side on the wrong way, and it was difficult to screw it back the other way (I had already created incorrect holes). I ended up using longer screws I had on hand, and they worked perfectly. I should have been more careful though!

There was a slight problem in shipping which led to a few very minor defects in some wood corners, but I managed to fill those in quickly and easily with some wood filler and a dark stain pen. It was more the issue with the shipping company than the furniture - you can't tell there were any problems after the fix!

Decent Dresser for the Price 5/8/09
This is a very good looking dresser and was easy to put together.

However, I'm not sure how long it will last. Particularly the drawers. The whole thing is made of particleboard covered in veneer. That's fine, except that several times when I screwed into the particleboard the screw didn't grip very well. I put wood glue everywhere a screw went directly into the particleboard, and it seems to be holding well so far. I'm not sure with daily use how long it will last.

If it lasts for five years and its looks hold up well I'll consider that I got my money's worth.

modern, stylish, quality 4/15/09
I got this dresser and the nightstand because I was running out of room in my small closet. I've been gradually replacing my things from college with more upscale and nicer furniture and this piece fit right in to my relatively modern apartment. The dresser is bold, but not too strong, and goes well with other dark wood furniture. The drawers are pretty spacious, although because of the way they're put together: a little wobbly when you carry them, but it's fine once they're pushed into the dresser. The quality of the wood is fantastic!
