great look, poor wear, cleaning is a challenge

I've had these flor tiles for a year now. While I loved them at first, as they don't really show dirt and the color is great, they haven't kept up as well as I had hoped. When needed, we have used our hand vac on these tiles. Overtime, the nap of the carpet has started to gather up in clumpy, irregular lines. Recently, our cat decided to have an "accident" on the rug, so getting the urine smell out has been quite the challenge. Flor's website advises to do spot treatments, and when needed, to clean with wool safe cleaner to avoid felting. I tested out using a hand tool and wool cleaner, and noticed the the nap had begun pilling, and it looks awful. So, I now have two choices: leave the other tiles with urine scent, or clean them into a pilled mess. I can't imagine why there isn't a better way to clean them, as per Flor's instructions. I once loved this carpet for the smooth, flat surface which has now become a clumpy, pilling disaster.

excellent way to add color and protect floors

We bought FLOR tiles in chartreuse and charcoal when we decided to rent out our condo for the year. We wanted to spruce up the kitchen and protect our laminate floors. They were so easy to put down and also quite economical.

I bought these tiles for my living room in various colors. Not only do they look great but they stay exactly in place - I was afraid they would come apart and I would be constantly fixing them.
They are also thin and sort of felt-like so they add warmth but are easy to clean.
I would highly recommend.

I purchased a few of these tiles for the entry of my condo. I paired with a few of the darker colors to hide dirt, but these chartreuse ones have repelled stains really well and add a much needed splash of color to a dark entry way! love the option to change out individual tiles if any get damaged or stained!!!

A rug that does extra duty as coasters or trivets!

I love these carpet squares for their durability, color and easy-to-clean feature. I use them inside my patio door where the color ties in to both the garden and my dining area, and where they help keep my dog's dirty paw prints and water dish dribbles in check. I've had to trim some of them to fit the space, and ended up cutting the "scraps" into 4-5" squares. They make such perfect drinks coasters that I bought a couple of extra tiles and cut them into quadrants to use as trivets on the dining table. They stand up to pans taken straight from the oven, and stack easily when not in use. The rubberized backing means they stay put, the carpet soaks up moisture from dew-beaded glasses, and no matter what happens, I think they always look good. I love these things!!

These are a GREAT idea! I like to change up the look of my rooms and can do so easily with FLOR rugs...I just order a few different colors and switch things out for a fresh look and a new color palate....

I bought these in the green and gray colors. I used them in our front entryway, which was a weird shape. It was super easy to cut the tiles and make them work for the space. I made a super custom rug and have gotten a ton of compliments on it.
My only issue with the tiles is that sometimes the sticky dots come loose. Also, depending on where you are using the carpet tiles, they may not stay in place. IE: I also made a door mat for another door area, and when people walk over it, or dogs run over it, it slides out of place. Wish there was a way to adhere it to the floor.

good value flor tile

I purchased 3 of the fedora tiles in different colors to test as a sample before building a larger rug. I got the green, oatmeal and gray. I like the 3 colors together, but found them too thin and flimsy to work with/move around to do a larger rug. I'm using them as a welcome mat for now and have purchased something else for under the dining table.

We just received and installed about 70 tiles for a hallway runner. The cutting was the only tricky/annoying part, but not annoying enough to give us buyer's remorse. Laying the tiles and affixing the stickers was incredibly easy, and the finished rug looks and feels beautiful. Vacuuming it is also very easy.

These tiles are thin, but very affordable and durable. They are in the baby's room and so far seem easy to clean. They would probably would work nicely under a dining room table, but don't expect much cushion.

Love my new FLOR tiles in chartreuse.
Be aware that the tiles vary in color in this dye lot. Ranges from more yellow to more green. I like the variation in the tiles, but some will not. Probably a flaw, but I did not return.

I ordered this product for our family room. I loved the color because it complemented the chocolate, green and orange already in the room. The tiles were easy to lay down and I also bought the same color in shag. I mixed them and designed my own personalized carpet. Each tile can be removed easily in case of a spill. They were reasonably priced and I would recommend these tiles because of their versatility, price, and the ability to change or redesign the shape as it fits your needs. I also called customer service because I had a question about ordering a similar tile, and they were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me.

We bought six squares to be placed under our rolling desk chair. It is lovely here. The chair moves freely, feet stay cozy, and the wood floor is protected. Very easy to put together, and cleans great.

These carpet tiles are great! The versatility and ease of use cannot be beat. I used these to make a runner style rug in front of my bar counter, to put my bar stools on. They look great, plus have held up beautifully to foot (and pet) traffic and have stayed clean, and held their placement. I'll be getting more of these in different colors for the home office I am currently redoing.

I so did not want to like Flor. I thought the concept was one that would not work... blah blah blah. But - we were smitten with the variance of colors, patterns and textures. Now, 2 years later, the clustered squares adorn two rooms of my house, and the kitchen is next. Fedora is one of the three patterns that work so beautifully in my living room, and Rugby dwells in the home office. Love Flor.

Affordable way to customize your space

We got a mix of Fedora FLOR tiles for underneath our Darjeeling table. We loved that we were able to get the size wanted in a pattern we chose. These are thinner tiles, but I actually like them under heavier items because they won't divot like a more plush carpet would.
Since then, we've bought some more Fedora for under our desk/chair so as not to roll around the hardwood floors (again, the fact that these are flat & thinner make them easy to roll an office chair on) and for our kitchen.
The chartreuse is a little lighter & brighter than it appears online (at least on my screen).

Love FLOR! Have the Fedora near the door to my yard, how nice to have a "rug" that lifts up easily and washes in the sink when it's dirty and comes out looking great again! When I want to change colors or patterns, I can send it back to FLOR for recycling, so it's eco-conscious too.
