I purchased 10 of these for a vacation rental I own. Every single one of the glasses cracked in half in approximately the same place during normal use. Now we have lots of carafes but no glasses. Probably a manufacturing defect. I wouldnt recommend these at all!

One of my favorite pieces from CB2. Innovative, functional, heavy glass, beautiful silhouette. Try it as a modern pitcher for margaritas - 5 limes, 4 shots tequila, 1 shot agave.

I ordered one of these carafes. When it arrived, the top part was broken. So I called customer service and the woman couldnt have been nicer. Plus I got to speak to a real person! They quickly shipped out another carafe which arrived in 3 days.

Perfect for a bedside table

I bought this for my guest room and use it every time someone comes to visit. This is better than similar products because the mouth is wider and makes for easier washing.

My carafe arrived and it looked like it had white paint in the bottom of it. It looks cheap and tacky. Unfortunately I bought it online so I would have had to have paid shipping costs to return it.

I held out for a while looking for the perfect bedside carafe and was beyond excited when i came upon the Cora. it is a gorgeous piece but doesnt execute as well as it looks. i find myself pouring water into the glass before i go to bed because am afraid of fumbiling, spilling the water etc. in the middle of the night.

Such a beautiful idea goes wrong with the poor quality of the glass. There are long scratches on both sides and there were specks of whitish pink paint on the bottom. Also some weird etching marks - like it had been washed in a dishwasher and left to dry there. Bubbles in glass are to be expected but the rest is not. I would have gladly paid more for something of higher quality. This one Goes back...

Love the shape, but lacked quality

I ordered 10 of these for a guesthouse I am decorating. I love the idea of these (and the price) but when they arrived almost every single one had flaws in the glass. They are hand blown, so some minor imperfections are expected, but these had large air bubbles and striations.. Also the thickness of the glass was very different in each of them - some were really thick and others scary thin as if the tiniest bump might shatter them.
I called CB2 customer service and they were great. They apologized and took them back.

Great idea but terrible execution

I was thrilled when I found this carafe. I have house guests every month and I like to keep water in their room so that they don't have to go down to the kitchen in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, while the carafe looks great it does not work. There is no spout so water drips down the carafe as you pour and only about half the water makes it into the glass with the rest ending up all over the floor. With a simple design modification this could be a great piece.

Picked this up with a ton of other CB2 items when I made a big move recently. While I loved nearly every purchase, this one definitely fell flat.
I was hoping to keep it bedside, but it is miserable at pouring! It just starts running down the length of the decanter and drips everywhere.
Less liquid made it in the accompanying glass than spilled onto my nightstand and rug. Luckily, it was only water. But still, very disappointing.

This is so handy to have on your bed side table! Its design is pretty stable so its hard to knock around in your midnight fumbling. Its simple beauty could coordinate with any style. That it is clear means it takes up little visual space.

Great price and love the look of this item. Lots of different uses for this. The only thing to make it better would be if the carafe had a spout to make for easier pouring but other than that, it's perfect.
