This bookcase is a great price for the quality. Very easy to assemble, and comes with heavy duty mounting hardware. The finish is definitely ebony and not espresso. The shelves are only 12 inches deep, so this piece can work in smaller spaces, but doesn't get lost in a large room.

We moved into a new (old) house with no dining room storage for our crystal, serving pieces, dinnerware, etc. I bought 4 shelving units and put 2 of them on either side of our sideboard. They look AWESOME - we get so many complements on our dining room - it looks like something out of a design magazine. People cannot believe how reasonably priced they were either. The helix was a very savvy purchase!

Nice quality, easy to assemble. Although the drywall anchors are very large and difficult to screw in to wall. That said, this product looks fantastic in finished form.

These shelves are a great size (not too deep) and attractive (deep, almost-black with brushed metal finish). Easy to level with my uneven pre-war apartment floors and, overall, I'm very happy with this product. Placed two side-by-side with about 2" in between.

This bookcase is a great value for the money. It was the perfect piece for my cramped office space (NYC living). It is sturdy and well made. It was not hard to put together.

Quick and Easy - Looks Good

Shipped very quickly and arrived earlier than predicted at checkout (FedEx delivered on Saturday). Bought two units and mounted them on the wall next to each other - they look good and pretty high end - my step-dad who was helping with the assembly even commented on how nice and solid they are (do it yourselfer who is hard to impress). Only took two screws into the wall to get them upright. Minor issue that the two units shelves sit at slightly different angles, but you can only tell when they are empty and you are a little design OCD like me. Over all very good and impressed with my first order from CB2.

These shelves have a small footprint, but very respectable capacity. They are also very stable since you screw them into the wall. We bought three and love them.

The helix bookcase is such a great piece to have. It has so many things going for it... looks great, stores a ton and is amazingly solid. With two active boys I wanted something that would not move and with the piece screwed to the wall it is simply fabulous! I only needed one for a small space inbetween our living and dining but I love the look of a couple put together. We have a mixture of modern pieces and antiques and this works perfect. Very very easy to put together and mount!!

Getting This House Together

I bought 2 of these books shelves for my husband's Easter basket this year. Needless to say the basket was not big enough, but they fit perfect in our master bedroom. We finally have a beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture to put our books and nicknacks on. We feel like real adults now. They were very easy to install. If there is any draw back, it's that I have to dust the shelves every now and again. Oh well....Thanks CB2!

My helix wall mounted bookcases can best be described as a "dramatic understatement"! I purchased 3 units and lined them up shelf to shelf to shelf and they alone make my husband's office wall a standout....without his displays! They were so easy to set up and the shelves are quite sturdy. Definitely a great purchase for the price. He can't wait to show off his new space!

We were looking for a bookcase that was modern, open, and space-saving. This was a perfect match. It's made well, was relatively easy to assemble (I'm 7 months pregnant and put it together and mounted it to the wall by myself in under an hour). It seems very sturdy and really complements our modern office space. The price was unbeatable as well!

I purchased 2 helix bookcases for my bedroom in hopes of creating a more moden feel & I love the result!! These shelves are gorgeous, sleek, modern and a definite focal point to my room now. I also purchased the can lights to sit at the bottom of the bookcases - it really accents the look!

Great shelving unit, simple to asseble. Stream-lined and doesn't take up too much space. We used 3 together on a wall. The effect is very striking and gives us a ton of storage space. They are also very light weight.
The only criticism would be about the color. Our home is mostly dark wood stain (espresso color), and these shelves are a black with more of a purple undertone. In the sun they look very purple. We have thought about possible painting them white.

This bookcase is better than I could have hoped for! I have been searching for the right bookcase for months and finally... CB2 had the answer.
I have floorboard heaters which prevent furniture from resting against one wall of my bedroom. This bookcase fits perfectly around the heaters allowing me to make the most of my space.
I was nervous about only having four shelves, but I found that I still have room for more books!
