Comfiest Couches

We were really looking just about everywhere for couches for our new home (sold our old place furnished). The reviews were really helpful in our decision to buy two of these couches. We decided on this one over the slipcover model and we're glad we did. We've owned these for over a month now.
These couches are awesome. Fabulous. Comfy. Tasty (at least our toddler thinks so). Attractive. First of all, I like the fabric, almost like a chocolate velveteen microfiber. Second, they are fairly easy to clean if you follow CB2's recommendations. Third, they are very toddler friendly in that we find them easy to clean and they are nice and soft.
The couch is not firm, but it is soft and supportive at the same time. Amazingly, my wife and I can both lay on them at the same time and I am 6' 2" tall. We recommend pillows, as the couch is very deep. Also, as noted in other reviews, you should flip the cushion periodically to reduce impressions, similar to what you do with a mattress. The workmanship is of high quality.
Delivery was excellent and communication from CB2 was superb.

I love curling up in the corner of this couch when watching a movie, reading, or just chatting with my family. Its size is also impressive. My husband, my son, my Irish Wolfhound, and myself can all fit. Additionally, it has held up remarkably well with the more destructive members of the family: the nine year old and the huge dog.
It cleans well. It sits low. And it is quite possibly my favorite piece of furniture.

I LOVE this sofa! I purchased this in the walnut faux velvet and added the natural slipcover to be used during the summer/spring months, or when I just want to change up the look. The modern, clean lines attracted me to the sofa first. It's super comfy and wide enough for an overnight guest. (Yes, it is wide so you will need throw pillows to fill it out. However, it's not too wide when paired with the pillows. I'm only 5'5" and don't feel like a child with my feet dangling.) The CB2 linen 22" and pleated 18" square pillows are the perfect size. Additionally, I had two custom made pillows created in 22" and 18" squares to make it my own. Get it! You'll love it, too.

Best Sofa EVER!

We have a big family and spend a lot of time together in our living room, this couch is perfect for all of us. The deep seat is so comfortable and there is enough room to add decorative throw pillows. I find that every few months I will change the pillow covers and feel like I have a new couch! Extra comfortable and durable, also basically spill proof. If anything is spilled simple bottled water and a wash cloth takes care of it everytime! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

This sofa looks more formal however when you sit in it or lounge, it is anything but formal. It looks stylish and sophisticated; no one would guess that we have 3 kids and a dog. The sofa fits the whole family and it cleans up so easily. The dog is not allowed on the sofa however her hair finds her way on it. Either using a vacuum or lint brush, cleans up amazingly. It is wonderful to sleep on as well. This is not a "keep our feet off the sofa" piece of furniture. You do not sit up with feet on the floor. It is a curl up and get comfy sofa. It is not necessary to buy additional pillows other than for decorating. The issue with the cushion exposing the white part that other reviewers wrote about must have been fixed because we have not had any problems. I recommend this sofa for both families and for the more urban younger set.

We bought this couch because we watch a lot of movies and the height is just perfect for our surround sound set up. It is very deep and comfortable, but I would recommend buying pillows to match. Because of the depth I have found that a couple of pillows makes it a lot more comfortable.

i love this couch, in fact, my entire family loves this couch- right down to my jack russell terrier.
the most comfortable sofa on earth for tv watching, movie night, and cat naps.

I was looking for a sofa that was modern and chic yet cozy, and the Movie Sofa fit the bill! I love coming home to it every day and I am so glad I have purchased it. The neutral colors allow for easy styling in a multitude of ways.
You might think such a large sofa would not be versatile, but when you have frequent guests in a one-room apartment, it really helps to have this sofa. It fits a 6' man well, and each person who has slept on it (including me) have raved!

Best lounging sleeping sofa

I had this couch for a little over 2 months now. It was easy to get this sofa into my house through standard door frames. Stylish low profile look with ample space to lounge on. I have 2 very hairy dogs(not allowed on the couch), but you know how hair travels anyway...It's easy to vacuum, and keep clean. I expected the fabric to be a little more higher quality than supplied. Hopefully it'll hold up. If not, can always get the slip cover. Also, you might want to turn over the single cushion once a week to keep it fluffy. I fell asleep on it many a night, with no neck pain the next morning. Overall, best couch I ever owned.

It's comfortable, sleek, easy to clean, perfect for sinking into at the end of a long day. I actually returned a different couch and exchanged it for this one because of how comfortable and inviting this couch is. Plus, I've had it for two years and it still looks great.

this couch is gorgeous. no one could deny that. i loved it the day it came in. however after a few months now, there are a few things that really bother me about the couch. apparently, some beam came loose inside the backing of the couch and it squeaks every time you sit near it. And the pad you sit on, well, i have to straighten it out constantly, its sagging where i sit the most (i wiegh 145lb btw) and it feels "flat" now in where the pad meets the back of the couch. I've tried flipping it over, banging it back into place. nothing seems to work. i just have to fidget with it every other week or so.

When I decided it was time to become an actual adult and began my search for the perfect couch I immediately went to cb2. I tried out every couch but kept going back to the movie sofa. I loved the depth and comfort of it. I waited almost a year before purchasing but visited it monthly.
The movie sofa has completely changed the feel of my apartment. All of my friends love it, my dog loves it...it's lovely.
Very comfortable, easy to clean (especially pet hair), the length makes it perfect for small parties - I would recommend it to anyone.

I really like this couch. It's comfortable - I've had a number of overnight visitors sleep on it and I love watching tv and reading on it. I also really like that there's no cushiony back, so that I can accessorize with whatever pillows I want to use. My only problem with the couch is the bottom cushion - I think it's a little small for the couch as it pulls away from the right side frame by about two inches. I reposition the cushion and it looks fine until someone sits on it and then it moves away again.

we like this couch, the color and fabric are nice. we like the design, shape and depth. our biggest complaints relate to the cushion. the foam is not firm at all, so you really sink down into it and it provides virtually no support. the second problem with the cushion is that it's about 2" short on the length -- hence it doesn't fit the frame of the sofa and it leaves an unattractive gap in the seat -- perfect for dirt, dust, pet hair, coins, remotes, etc., to fall in. not sure if this is a flaw in production or just happened to the sofa we got.
we've enjoyed this sofa overall and gotten lots of use out of it, but it's gotten to the point where i wish we had gotten something else.

This couch is awesome. It's pretty low and very wide, so you'll probably want to get some big pillows or cushions. It's wide enough to lay flat comfortably, or for two people to snuggle. The fabric is very soft and attractive, and the color is a deep chocolate brown. I love the modern lines. Highly recommended!

this couch is WIDE, but a good wide. two can easily lay down comfortably which i was looking for. it's not too wide where you can't sit comfortably. i opted for the white since i have a living room that gets a lot of light. i didn't want the brown to fade quickly as i've seen before with colored couches in bright room. overall it looks great and i've received many compliments by friends. the only downfall i could see is if you sit in one spot for awhile, it takes a bit for the foam to fluff back up.

when i 1st received the swatch i was a little worried b/c it wasn't a natural fiber and the swatch of fabric looked and felt a little strange to me, however, i didn't read any reviews with concerns about the fabric of the couch so i went on and ordered it. I LOVE THIS COUCH! i just got it today!!! it is very deep and throw pillows will be nice, however, it is fine for the type of lounging and tv watching my friends and I like to do. i'm 5'2" so, no, my feet dont touch the ground when i'm sitting all the way back, however, with some pillows it will be fine for regular sitting, but who does that anyway?? it is very comfortable, the brown color is neutral enough to go with anything and the weird polyester fabric its made of looks much better as a couch than as a small swatch. GET THIS COUCH!!!
