I bought 7 magazine files in lobster and slate grey, and am disappointed with their quality. The linen is not smooth, but is bubbly in some places, like what often happens when you try to glue a piece of paper onto something. If you have ever seen Kolo album products, with their fine linen covers, note this is not the same quality at all. Some of the magazine files also do not stand perfectly upright, but tip to the left or the right instead. As a result they do not align flush next to each other and there are gaps between them. This may also be due in part to the shipping - it seemed to have been shipped very well (box within a box, with lots of padding), but 2 of the 7 magazine files came out extremely warped, as if one of the sides had gotten depressed. Also, the dimensions are incorrect. They are not 4 inches wide, but closer to 4.25 inches - I know that's not much, but those .25 inches made a difference in not allowing 7 to fit on my bookshelf as I had planned. If you're debating between these files and another, I would lean towards something else, but if these fit the bill perfectly, then just know what to expect. If you plan on just storing documents in them and leaving them on a bookshelf, you probably won't notice the imperfections after a while like you would with more frequent use.
