This shelf receives five stars for sturdiness, being easily wall mounted, and overall attractivess. We like the woodgrain finish, because it gives it texture and edge that makes it stand out from the other pieces of black painted wood furniture I have. We also added some custom door pulls to it, to truly make it OOAK, and even more functional.

Great nightstand!

This is a sturdy, well-built nightstand. I checked it out in the store and decided to buy it because it works quite well, and hangs very, very strongly to the wall. It's quite easy to connect to the wall and has strong support all-around.
I'd definitely encourage someone to buy this if they're looking for that "floating" look for their bedroom.

Decided to use storage boxes as nightstands to go with my bed. Looked all over for black stained oak nightstands that were not $500 each. Came across these at cb2, brought them home and they did the trick. Looks very modern with my platform bed, like they are floating on the wall. Simple and stylish, just what I wanted for great price!!!!

Simple to install, looks great. Only thing is when shelf is down it's difficult to reach in and grab stuff. So the cubbyhole is good for things you won't need all the time.
Just buy it. You'll like it.

Just what I was looking for as a nighstand. It was very easy to install, just wish the screw were seperated by 32" or 64" on center to match the spacing of the studs, but the anchors worked great where I could not screw into the studs.

Very simple design and very well made. Installation was easy with the template included in packaging. Speaking of which, everything from CB2 is extremely well packaged. Nice solid feel of the materials and once mounted, seems to support a decent amount of weight.
Only thing I would recommend is make sure you measure the height of where you want this to go at least 3 times. If you mount the bracket where you think the top of the shelf will be, that is about 3" lower. So instead of drilling new holes, make sure you have someone help you hold the shelf where you want it and measure.

we have a platform bed with pull-out drawers, and were trying to figure out what kind of a nightstand to get that wouldn't interfere with the back drawers...this is perfect! we got one for each side of our bed and not only do they look great and feel sturdy, they were super-easy to install (they come mostly assembled) and have a nice width-to-depth ratio for all your magazines/books/lamp/clock. love em!

I love this nightstand. We have them flanking either side of the bed with our dog's crates underneath. Clean lines and so easy to install. Very stable once on the wall.

this side table was the best find! Our new bedroom was a bit small on my side for a standard bedside table so I need something I could mount. This nightstand is PERFECT. It looks great in our room and it holds a lot too. I'm very happy with it.

Of all the new furniture I purchased when I moved into my new home, the Sleepy Hollow storage shelf-nightstand is my favorite! It's so versatile. It can be used nearly anywhere for nearly anything! I bought two for my master bedroom, but I'll be purchasing more for my home office and guest room. A sleek look for a great price and easy to install!

These night stands are so great. There is a wonderful amount of room inside and they hang nicely. The construction of these are great and don't feel cheap. We have gotten sooo many compliments on these...great purchase!

i live in manhattan so space is a premium. when you walk into my apartment, there is a small entrance that was wasted space so i bought two of these and placed one above the other as shelving/storage, put art work on the table and it serves as my hidden junk drawers and it is very sleek as well. underneath the storage i put two leather open bins that hold my hats/gloves/etc and recycled paper products. you dont see the contents of the bins so it all is highly functional and looks fabulous

We had a smaller sized bedroom with a full bed and wanted something to help make the room feel open. This sleek nightstand goes great and is functional with it's fold down door. Very easy to install as well.
