Great looking couch. Wonderful size, fabric, texture and color. I'm using it in a seating area that gets less traffic and is more for formal entertaining and I think that's a perfect place for it because for me, it's a bit too small to curl up on in front of a TV for a nap!
Completely depends on what you're looking for of course, but I certainly recommend it!

Love this sofa- clean lines, good quality, and the grey microfiber hides any stains! I've had it for two years now and it still looks good as new, just be sure to flip the cushions regularly!

My First "New" New Couch

The Track Sofa is the first 'new' new couch I've ever bought. I've bought couches before but my couch-history is full of faded-futon and cracked-leather. If you told me that the first nice couch I ever bought would be online I would have laughed in your face, or scoffed, or done both simultaneously, what I call sclaughoffing.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for internet shopping. I think for certain things it is fantastic. It's efficient, it's easy, it saves money and it fills co-workers with a sense of uncertainty and mystery each time a random brown box appears on your desk and instead of opening it you look around at them with a guarded and anxious expression before shuffling it into or underneath your desk.
But a couch is different. It's primary function is sitting so to buy something made for sitting without ever sitting on it would normally be a big crimson-colored flag. That's why in the beginning I put butt to cushion in every dapifer of davenports I could find around Philadelphia. Nothing was what I was looking for. I was ready to give up when I stumbled across the Track on CB2.com while searching for something unrelated.
It immediately caught my eye. I liked its marriage of form and function, its serene simplicity, its 2-over-2 in dark grey. But I was afraid. Afraid to step outside my comfort zone and make a big-ticket purchase from my desk. I flipped a coin and 18 out of 35 times it came up heads. A minute later I ordered the couch and I couldn't be happier that I did.

Awesome new couch

I've been using the track sofa now for over a month and I love it! It was firm at first, but as you sit on it the cushions break in nicely. The color is great and it fits nicely in my small apartment. I would recommend this couch to anyone!

For years, I've lusted after modernist gray sofas made by fancy Italian manufacturers who are content to charge several thousand Euros for the luxury of comfort and clean design. When it came time to actually purchase our first nice sofa, my boyfriend tossed my magazine clippings in the trash. Puh-lease, he was saying, even if we could afford it, who in their right mind would spend so much? Then I showed him this sofa from CB2 and he cocked his head to the side. Yes, let's get it. We are so happy with our decision to buy this relatively affordable and really well constructed sofa. I love the color/subtle pattern of the upholstery, and despite what some reviewers have said about the over-firmness, we think it's perfect. My 87-year-old grandmother recently slept on it for two nights and said it was as comfortable as her bed!

This couch is very nicely sized for smaller apartment. The fabric has a nice gray on gray herringbone pattern to it - very handsome. Good craftsmanship as expected from a crate&barrel off-shoot. The design is minimal and clean, which I like a lot. The only disappointment I have is the one delivered to me was was much firmer than the one I sat in the store. Maybe it will soften up over time, but don't expect to sink in and lounge away in the first few weeks.

I recommend that anyone buying a couch first sit on it feel it out before purchasing. As much as I LOVE the upholstery and fabric used on this couch, it was a bit small (length and depth) for our space and especially TOO firm. Not a couch to lounge on. Also, I would recommend getting a 2 cushioned couch that allows you to flip the cushions so they don't end up dipping in the middle with time. Cute couch (with some details to consider carefully) and GREAT service, but unfortunately didn't work for us.

Out of the many things I ordered from CB2, I needed to wait the longest to give my opinion on this couch. The jury was out at first, but now that I've had it for 2 months, I'm ready to recommend it.
First, this is a very clean design, minimal and modern and in a very nice dark charcoal that has a subtle herringbone pattern to the microfiber fabric. If you're going for a more masculine look, I think it fits in well.
The couch is also pretty low, which for me is a mixed bag. I like the low look, but for optimum comfort for taller folks 6ft and over with long legs, it would need to be 2-3 inches higher. But that would be less sleek wouldn't it? It is however very comfortable so sit on and is well padded.
One thing you need to watch out for is the cushions and how you maintain them. From seeing this couch in the CB2 store in Manhattan, you can see the side where people sat the cushion has become a little misshapen. Hasn't happened on mine since it's newer and not exposed to such high traffic, but you do need to occasionally move the cushion and plump the stuffing (is that what it's called?) to keep it from looking lop sided.

I love the smooth simple lines of this sofa - I don't need a lot of fancy fabrics and colors- just practically and a great, sturdy and durable sofa for me !

I have had this couch for about 8 months now and I'm very happy with it. My roommate and I both camp out on it everyday and it has held up to our heavy use pretty well! My one star deduction is that sometimes the pillows get a little mushed up but if you fluff them up they go pretty much back to normal. I'd say this would happen with most couches used so often after time, especailly ones as comfy as this!

The track sofa has been a terrific addition to our home. The simple lines and classic tailoring make it adaptable to a variety of styles. We've owned the sofa for two years and have recently moved. We have used it successfully in two homes, in two very different size rooms and with very different styles. Comfortable and chic, you can dress it to fit your design whims by adding extra pillows or throws.

I originally had my eye on a different CB2 sofa, but when I got to the store, it was too bulky for my living room. Then I saw the Track sofa. The color is a perfect gray, the fabric is very soft and its clean lines give it a modern look. It's also really comfortable! I agree, check the sofa out in the store. The online photos don't do it justice.

I had been looking for a couch forever and I could never find the right one, material, color, comfort, style. This was it for me. I purchased it on a whim and it was exactly what I wanted for my traditional yet earthy taste. Go see it in person though...online picture and fabric swatch do not give it justice.

This was my first time moving out and finding the perfect couch was necessary! I knew the colors and style that i wanted and after looking at several places i decided on one from cb2. When i went to physically look it, i liked it, but didn't love it. After walking through the store I saw the track sofa in the exact color and style that i wanted. After testing out the sofa for quite awhile...i knew i found the perfect couch for my new place. The size fits perfectly in a small space and the color makes it easy to match added accessories to it! It is comfy, cozy, soft and I love it!

I love the fabric; it feels so cozy. It's really comfortable, too.. you can put the cushions on the side and have more space to lie back while watching tv or something!
