This coat tree is my family's personal door man, as we enter or exit he is there at the ready to assist us with coats, hats, and unbrellas. No more running back upstairs because you may have forgotten something. The great price was also a +++ it is a challenge to find modern, clean lined items for the home, that are reasonalby priced. I love, love, love CB2, your stuff is the BOMBDIGGITY!

Have never owned a coat rack before, and always had to deal with stray coats. This rack solved the problem. Rooms for coats, scarves, umbrella, and the dog's leash gets thrown in the bottom. It's got it all, and nice n sturdy.

Pros: Very stylish and modern. Fits well into tight spaces and corners. Easy to assemble.
Cons: The non-slip pad in the drip tray seems like it would tear easily under a sharp umbrella point. Hooks are relative small so jackets, purses, bags, etc. have to be hung with some care.
In Sum: If you don't mind taking a little more care when hanging things up and putting in your umbrellas, the minimalist style and appearance of the sprout coat tree is sure to compliment any modern decor.

This coat rack looks outstanding. It was purchased as a gift from my registry. I was bouncing back and forth between this rack and the cheaper offering on CB2, but, decided to run with this.
This is built sturdy. The finish looks very clean and has not scuffed or blemished with my use. The top "hooks" are wonderfully rounded and finished. We have been using the lower, stubbier, rungs as a place to hang our keys. It took less than 5 minutes to build. When you are building this coat rack, you have a little bit of play at each of the joints. After building it, I had to loosen and re-tighten one of them to get the seam to line up perfectly. This wasn't a gripe, just a FYI while you are building it. Once the seams are lined up and tight, they are practically invisible. It looks like one solid piece.

Bought this rack in ORANGE. It sets off my guest room perfectly. My guests enjoy the convenience of somewhere to hang their PJ's and other travel odds and ends. Two umbrellas are always handy and available...in matching colors of course!

This is a great looking coat rack but it is not very functional because the base is very wobbly. Because the rack doesn't have 4 evenly distributed "feet", all items need to be evenly distributed which is not convenient especially when you're in a hurry and want to quickly toss a jacket or bag on the rack.
I also found that the smaller hooks at the bottom are too small/short to hold anything.

This coat tree takes up relatively little space, is tall enough for me to hang long coats on, is heavily weighted at the bottom so it doesn't tip easily, and has that great umbrella drip tray. Depending on the season, it holds scarves or coats or light jackets, and in high summer it holds my purses. Easy for me to assemble. Love it.

I bought this is the bright lobster color and love it!

I finally purchased this rack and was so excited to receive it. Much to my dismay its not very sturdy because its so light weight. You can't hang too many items and have to strategically place the ones you want to hang. I thought this would be great to hang my canvas shopping bags, but if I put one too many on one side the rack starts to sway to the heavier side. Its much more for appearances then functionality.
