My bedroom is so small and I have little storage. This bed is not only beautiful and top qulaity, but I can store all my books and nick naks INSIDE the bed! There is no way CB2 can make this bed any better!

We are looking for a new bed. I was in the CB2 store in san francisco and was able to have a look at "the real thing". The bed is beautiful! Sturdy, elegant, spacious.

This bed is the answer for anyone in need of more space in a room. The storage is tremendous and with all four sides available the bed has finally found its way "off the wall". Assembled with ease, this bed is not what you would expect, it is far more substantial/sturdy and is really quite beautiful. Kudos CB2.

We were looking for a bed that offered sturdy support, included storage and was stylish. We definitely found what we were looking for in the harmonica. This bed is well-constructed and will not move an inch without a lot of effort. The solid frame supports at least half of the mattress, making the mattress feel more firm, and the slatboards in the middle are held up by strong square legs with adjustable height feet. The bed was relatively easy to put together, but requires two people. CB2 included quality hardware and an extra of each piece, which is smart. The only issues we encountered were 1) the mattress slides around on the frame because there are no place holders for it and one of the screw holders in the frame was stripped.

After looking long and hard, we found nothing that could compare with this harmonica bed. It's so perfect for someone who needs all the storage they can get in a small place. Looks awesome too. We are so thrilled.

I researched a LOT of beds before buying this one. Storage is great, the wood tone is beautiful, and it matches the style of the room perfectly. Very straightforward to put together; it took awhile b/c I was doing it alone, but the directions were very clear.

Great bed! I love the sliding doors. It looks much better than other bed with storage. We don't have any baskets, but folding and stacking clothes (especially jeans) works great. We store sheets, books and other odds and ends too. We were concerned about having the mattress slide on the platform, but it has stayed in place. The only negative is not being able to use the storage space that's up against the wall. In NYC, having a bed in the middle of a room to access the storage around all sides of the bed doesn't make sense.

My husband and I were struggling picking out a bed for our new home.
The harmonica bed is perfect and we're so happy with it.
Very sleek, the bed looks great in our master bedroom. The extra storage it provides is an added bonus.
I think the quality is great for the price.
I've read other reviews about how hard it was to put together. I wouldn't say hard. The directions are very clear, but it is a little time-consuming. It took my husband and about 2 hours to put together.

After a couple of reveiws I was nervous to begin assembling the bed; however, it was much easier than I has assumed - it took 2 of us about 2 1/2 hours max. When we were finished - WOW what a great loooking bed! Definetely worth the money and assembly time. Perfect for a condo/loft space.

simple in so many ways

I am an interior designer/ architect and so I like simple designs and I have been looking at bed frames for YEARS and finally decided on this one even though there isn't a headboard. Its about the simplicity and the function. I received this in 3 boxes and proceded to put it together by myself in about 3 hours. Its very easy to get together, but it is a good thing I am somewhat strong. My one complaint is the finish on the wood is rather weak. Being in the profession I understand you get what youpay for, but I got a gash in the wood way to easy and early on. I wish they would finish it with something more durable.

Very much what I expected....clean lines and low profile. Very pleased with the purchase (the low rise matching dresser compliments it very well).
This bed is not fun to put together. Suggestion: hire someone to do it or count on it taking you an entire day.
