LOVE this table lamp! It is beautiful and stylish!
Buyers should note two things about this lamp that is not listed in the desciption:
1. the swtich is on the cord
2. the glass base could scratch your table - use caution when moving it.

This lamp has the perfect shade/base proportions, and the white shade and clear glass base are versatile for any decor... can be simple chic or modern or eclectic enough for anyone's taste. Shipping was very quick, and my only complaint is that the shade wasnt protected enough to discourage some minor dents but not enough to be bothered by.

Love this lamp! The shade seems to float in air - great for a smallish bedroom with large furniture.

I believe Flavor Flav said it best when he versed: "I'm lampin', I'm lampin' I'm cold cold lampin'... I'm in my Flav-mobile, cold lampin'." It didn't make sense to me then, but know I understand. This lamp is super pimp.

Lovin' the lamp.
The only surprise was the location of the on/off switch which is on the electrical cord... like a lava lamp. I would have preferred the switch to be on the neck of the lamp so I don't have to bend over and dig, in the dark, behind the table my lamp rests on just to enjoy its' light. That sounds lazy of me, but functionality is important.
Overall, the lamp looks great and it has inspired me to learn the ins and outs of lamp making - Perhaps I can change the switch on my own ... hmm.

I agree with some commenters that the bottom could scratch the table, bt other than that they look great and the price is even better. I bought a pair and both arrived perfect. Is good to clean them with Windex so the glass looks nice. No complaints at all.

This lamp is super cool. I was looking for a lamp where I could place objects inside, and this open bottom solved the problem. The one thing is, the fabric is not wrapped well around the frame of the shade and when the light is turned on, you can see jagged edges. But this should be an easy fix. Still love it. Nothing else out there compares.

Nice looking lamp! Looks great in most any room with any decor- even looks great sitting on the table not lit... The shade actually broke off my first one, but CB2 sent a replacement promptly and paid for shipping as well! Mine looks quite nice with an energy efficient bulb.

The lamp looks great. The shade it came with was damaged but was quickly replaced. It's a great design. For maximum bang for your buck I might replace the shade with a higher quality one, but overall it's great.

I purchased this for my last apartment and it really made the room. When I moved, it fit in well with my new living room but I moved it to the bedroom and it is gorgeous! Very airy, light, fits in well with minimalist decor. Also good because it matches with almost all other colours. The only issue was that in the living room, I had a hard time placing it originally because if you are more likely to stand over it then sit beside it, it does not light well. A reading area or bedroom is probably best as you will be eye level with it most of the time. Also, the metal piece holding the shade to the wire bulb frame broke off but it still balances on top well enough no one can tell.
