I recieved these candleholders in the mail today and I'm very pleased! I bought one of each style, plus an additional in the sphere style. I don't have a formal dining room, so these add a formal touch to my fairly casual dining room. I placed them on the brown "odyssey table", with the white "slim chairs" and my walls are a dark plum color, it looks great!

I love these candle sticks. I bought a ton so that I could use them as the center pieces for my wedding. I already have family members calling dibs on who get to take the most home. They go with anything and they aren't as fragile as the look in the pictures. Not to mention they make great Christmas gifts.

Lumiere Candleholders

I bought three different styles to give to my sister and her husband for Christmas this year. The look of them is very nicely modern, yet chic. My only concern is that my sister has three young children and the glass of these candleholders is quite thin, making them easily breakable. Who knows; maybe they'll just use them for special occasions?

I bought 4 different candle sticks. Didn't want a matching set. they are very light weight which is very cool. I broke 1 the very next day I got it. i was throwing a ball with my dogs in the house and of course the ball hit the candle stick 2 of them came flying off the table - i dove and was able to catch 1 the other crashed into a million pieces - but I'm sure anything would have broken. They look great displayed. I do use them with candles in them. I like the fact that they do not match. Just need to be careful with them. When i put candles in them they are sturdy. Can't beat the price.

I used about 20 candle holders with 50 of the glass balls scattered with votives as a centerpiece for a large group dinner. The effect was amazing at night with the candle light reflecting off all of the glass. The only challenge with the candle holders is that they are very light weight. I broke two of them just pulling them out of the box and when you have a taper candle in them, they are top heavy. I was really nervous that they would topple over if anyone hit the table but luckily we had no mishaps. For the price, cannot be beat - was able to create a dramatic center piece for 30 guests for less than $250. No regrets! 5 stars for the price but because they are so fragile, you can't really clean any wax drips off them so shelf life is tough.

I had been wanting some candlesticks like this, and for this price they are all I could ask them to be! They are delicate, whimsical, and a great size. The only downside is that they are SO delicate that they are very breakable. Overall, a great purchase!

I've used these in my own home, and clients homes that I've designed for. These are all a very classy design. They look wonderful, where ever you decide to put them. In bathrooms, mantels, dining tables, etc. They're all just beautiful!

Being an avid HGTV fan, I loved these candleholders. They look like ones that Candice Olsen uses in many of her rooms. They are delicate, and reflect the light beautifully.

I purchased a mix of the Lumiere candleholders. This was m first purchase from CB2. I was instantly impressed as soon as I got my package. Along with the candleholders, the other items I purchased were packaged perfectly. I knew that I wasn't going to have to call and have items replaced due to being broken. Everything was perfectly intact.
The Lumiere candleholders are a great combination of classic, modern and minimalist. They are just stunning when the candlelight hits the glass. I couldn't be more happier with my purchase.

i love these candle holders. they look amazing clustered together. with the tapers you need to shave off the edges to fit because most taper candles are too big. Also make sure they are in a safe place because they are very delicate & a tad top heavy with the candles in them.

I have a cluster of these on my dining table very similar to the photo, without any candles. I think I've had these over a year. I still look at them as I pass thru the room and think, these ARE cool. They are fragile, being made out of beaker glass, but if one breaks, it's cheap to replace. This happened to me, and I was so thankful that the product was still available.

I ordered all 4 candle sticks. They arrived safely and look as beautiful inperson as they do in the catalogue. They are all very delicate, so take care to place them where they are least likely to be accidentaly broken.

I used the candleholders for my wedding, and they looked amazing on the tables and in the photographs. They were a little too delicate however, and quite a few were broken as the night went on. I would recommend these for anyone looking for a bit of style for little money.

I bought several of these candleholders and intend to use them not to hold candles but rather as a group display. The shapes are unique and they add a touch of modern glam to a room for a small price. The glass does appear thin and while I haven't broken any yet, I wouldn't be surprised if one did break eventually if knocked over.

Delicate and beautiful

I purchased the set of all 5 candlesticks - they're delicate, modern, perfect for an architectural detail that isn't too bold. The glass is very fine, no seams. The largest is very bulbous at the bottom - does not fit into the 'set' as well as the others, but on the other hand it has a unique, lovely shape. I haven't put candlesticks in them yet - I think you'd have to be very careful about it to avoid breaking them.
