I want to love this dinnerware, but I would suggest some improvements. I like the weight, but I wish they were a little bit lighter. The dinner plate is especially thick and heavy. The bowls could be a little higher and less wide. Right now they work well for a bowl of pasta or a small salad, but not so much for a big bowl of cereal or soup. Basically I wish they were a little more user friendly. Lastly, most of the bowls and several plates were defective--small chips and bad finishing on their exteriors. Looks like a quality control issue. Of course CB2 is shipping replacements out, so no complaints.

I love the look of this set. It has all that I look for in a contemporary table setting. My problem was the weight of the pieces. To me they would be to heavy to pass around at the table. Customer service was great and helpful as always. I do recommend this set, just beware of the weight before you buy. It's a great bargain for the quality.

Love the style of this dinnerware! Very heavy and looks durable. A couple of pieces came broken; CB2 sent a replacement super fast!

These plates are fantastic! I was impressed by their weight, stack-ability, and of course how sleek they look on the table. If that's not enough, the 1/2 lip makes them perfect for putting on your eating dress and piling on the food.

I was excited when I saw this collection online.. So I ordered it. Unfortunately, they are too havy, don't work well on the table; too thick, too heavy...

This dishes are great, I got the salad plates, dinner plates, as well as bowls! I must say that the bowls are not that deep, however my boyfriend and I like to have huge bowls of cereal, probably more than most people...so I'm sure they will work out for anyone who is a normal eater lol! The plates are heavy, and I am slightly worried about them chipping or something, but we shall see. They are great in the microwave and do not heat up to the point where it is too hot to carry them. Everything I make looks like it came from a restaurant because they are so modern and fabulous looking! If you are debating...just get the darn things! They are perfect for everyday and causal dining/entertaining!

I love these plates. I was so excited when I opened them. In addition to being great for the price I thought they would be perfect for the little kids because the lip around the edge would help keep the food on the plate while they were scooping and eating. BUT they don't fit in my dishwasher. I don't have a full sized dwasher so it will likely fit in most others but in mine they can fit between the separators. I am heartbroken.

Great... except for the bowls

I love the look of this set, and was happy with both plates and the serving bowl. However, the regular bowl is totally impractical! It is very shallow (the bottom is convex, so you have even less room than it looks like). I'm not sure what we could really use it for -not deep enough for cereal or soup, and too small for pasta. I guess it's good for a side salad.
I might keep all the plates and just find a more convenient white bowl to coordinate somewhere else. So disappointing because the the straight lines and right angles are fabulous.

I happened across a CB2 catalog when we purchased our new home (a catalog came in the mail for the previous owners). Since then, I have been browsing the site and reading all of the reviews. Well - I went ahead and ordered the small and large plates and the bowls. And I am SO GLAD I DID!! I love them and I am so impressed with CB2's customer service. One plate arrived chipped. I sent them an email and they immediately sent out a replacement. These dishes are heavy and I love the fact that they can be placed in the oven or microwave. Thanks CB2 - I just placed another order!

I purchased this to use as a serving dish for when I host a party... It is a lot nicer than I expected because it is so affordable. I plan on order the rest of the dishes as well.. very durable product.. looks great too.

I purchased the entire set of dinnerware. They are exactly what I was looking for to use in my remodeled kitchen. 2 bowls were broken when they arrived and CB2 promply sent replacements......excellent customer service! You will love this dinnerware!

I am an architect and work in the design industry. I purchased several sets of this dinnerware. I liked the shape and scale of the plates and the rimmed design makes it multifunctional for meals that could otherwise be sloppy and end up on your dining room table. Everything stays on your plate. These dishes we're very affordable but look very expensive and make even eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich an event...

This dinnerware is perfect for us. The lines are clean, the whiteness enhances every meal, and it has a timeless design.
We especially like the small sides on the plate. Foods with sauces stay put and they are very easy to eat on when dining away from a table. Company always admires them. Of all the dinnerware I have owned, this is our favorite. And, it's been over a year since the purchase and the condition is still perfect.

I love these dishes. They worked out great for me when having a bbq this summer. You can take advantage of the different shapes and sizes for dips, chips, veggies, etc. The price makes these really appealing.

We had wanted these for a long time from another design store but the price wasn't "within reach". Then we came across these. They're great, and what a steal. One downside -- the porcelain isn't perfectly smooth. But for our casual china set, we don't mind. And again, there's the price...

Purchased 10 plates, mugs, bowls and salad plates along with 2 serving bowls. One bowl arrived broken and CB2 customer service quickly sent out a replacement- awesome customer service. These items are quite substantial and appear to be of high qualty.
