Got it today and I absolutely love it! The online picture doesn't do it justice. Looks a lot more expensive than it is...I think I'm going to order another.

LOVE the unique height to diameter ratio of this lamp which gives it a very modern feel. It does collect a little dust, but for those of you that clean more frequently than once a month you will be just fine. This lamp is surprisingly inexpensive!!!

I ordered two for our night stands and they are AMAZING. They were larger than I anticipated, and I am very pleased with the scale.
The dimmer is perfect for reading in bed - on the lowest setting I can fall asleep while my husband reads, and the quality seems high.
You would be hard pressed to find a lamp of this style and quality with a touch dimmer for this price anywhere else.

I have never seen lamps like thes before, they look great on my fireplace mantal! It was hard finding larger scale lamps that were as narrow as these. Only reason i didn't give 5 stars is that they flicker and i have to turn them on and off until they stop.

This lamp was just the perfect size for my entertainment unit that is a contemporary style. Also because of its height, it helps to balance a tall floor lamp on the other side of the room along the same wall. Very clean and sleek looking.

These lamps are amazing. You can't find anything more attractive and useful at this price... even second hand. I bought two for my bedroom and they look great. I love being able to simply touch the base to turn change the light level. It certainly beats reaching for a cord switch or getting out of bed to hit the wall switch.

I bought 2 for my bedside tables. They are beautiful and the perfect size for the bedside. The black nickel is so shiny! The 3 different dimmer settings are perfect! My favorite purchase of the year!

I love this lamp! I purchased two for the bedroom nightstands. Love the touch off and on feature,however, I thinks it works best with good old fashioned light bulbs. The sleek clean design is just what I needed for the room. It emits plenty of light for ambiance or for reading. Love the textured shade! All at a great price!

Perfect for making a room extra bright or for setting a dim light to keep the space calm. Three different settings, none of which are too too bright. Only complaint would be that I wasn't able to get it to work with an energy saving lightbulb--other than that I love having it right next to my bed!

We absolutely love this lamp. I bought two for nightstands in out new bedroom and placed couple of dimmable CFL bulbs in them. It takes a little while for them to reach full lightness, but they are perfect for the ambient bedroom accent light and are enough to read while snuggled up in bed. Great price and classy modern-style item!

Love the lamps. I bought 2 for my 2 night-stands. The size is a tad bigger than I had imagined, but it's beautiful and makes my bedroom come alive. The base does get dirty quickly since I have to touch to turn it on and off. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Online this lamp looks awesome. In person, this lamp looks like a paper towel roll. I love the idea of a touch-base for on and off functions, however, since the base is a dust magnet, when you try to clean it, you get a strobe effect. Also, the 3-way switch isn't very compatible with new eco-friendly bulbs; you really have to buy an old school 3-way bulb.

I purchased two of these. One for my husband's nightstand and one for my mine. As soon as I had unpacked them and put them on the nightstands, he said, gee, it would be really cool if you could just touch them and they would turn on. So, I touched the base and the light turned on! Both of us are so excited at the look of them, as it fits our mid-century style very much. The only difficulty I would say is that the base does get dusty. It could just be because of our house, but regardless, we love the look and style of these.

I have had this light for about a week. It reminds me of the one my grandma had that you touched and it turned on but, of course, a modern version. The shade looks like linen and has the darker shade of white when it turns on but is great for dark spaces. Love it!
