This dining table is worth every penny, it looks so awesome in my kitchen and the white just sets it off. I purchase two white chairs to go with this dining table and I am so happy that I purchase from CB2. This will be the place that I purchase all my household needs. This is the best table I have purchase and happy that I made that choice.

This table looks great and is perfect for my small kitchen space. I heeded the other reviews, and had a glass top specially made for the table and can now use the table with wild abandon. I think that even with the combined price its a good deal. The glass cost appx $140. I plop heavy stuff on it all the time and it stands up: very sturdy. Plan to use it for a long time. The paint did chip when a dufus contractor stood it on its edge - I just covered the spot with white-out :P

Perfect Fit

I have one of those tiny dining/living room combos that also happens to be right in front of a sliding glass door. This table with three chairs gives me plenty of walking space and lets me access my door with no problem. Its minimal look doesn't clutter the feel of the room either. I like the super-thin stem, as it allows for plenty of legroom. The only complaint I have is that the white isn't as white as my dishes, but I paired them with black table linens and a black centerpiece, and the contrast is striking! Overall it's a good look and very functional.

I haven't had a scratching problem with this table like the other reviews mention. Maybe they've improved the finish since then? Or maybe I'm just not abusing the table enough?
Either way, I think this thing is great. I purchased it for a round room and it is jus puurrrfect.

Great NYC Dining Table

A very mod & stylish table, perfect for smaller spaces such as an apartment or sining nook. It was very easy to put together, and once out of the packaging, took me no more than 20 minutes to assemble. I looked for many months for the perfect
table, but kept coming back to this particular model.

Looked great on the first day. Purchased it to stage my moms house for sale. The look went down form there.
Bad finish , great design Still Love CB2 , cant win them all . Everything else I bought really lived up to the claims.

This table is cute, modern and easy to put together. Good for small spaces, sits 4, maybe 5 if you squeeze. The top scratches very easily, even with everyday glasses and dishes. A protective cover for dining is a must. Definetly not a 'family friendly' dining table, but very appropriate for a modern adult.

I absolutely love this table... I just bought it from the CB2 store in SoHo, so I cannot speak to the durability of the item. But the table paired with the off-white pony chairs transformed my small studio. Definitely will be putting some place mats on it though!!

we've had this table in white for almost 2 years now. we love the look and it fits nicely into our living/dining area. it's easy to clean and looks great. the paint only chipped in one little place on the edge, i painted over it and you can't even tell.
it's a great table overall. and an excellent price.

This table is everything I was looking for. I've been using it for about 3 months now and still no scratches, no loosening like some other poorly made ones out there and easy cleaning. I've seen cheaper bad ones that have a plastic bottom, but CB2 has the best one of these. It works well with a lot of colored chairs and can easily seat 5 people actually. I love it!

This is a great table - sturdy and lovely to look at. My only complaint is that the white version scratches VERY easily. Beware, but enjoy!

we've had this table for a couple of years now in our one bedroom apartment and it has served us well in terms of function and style. it's also fairly easy to clean and maintain. be careful of scratching the surface, that's all.

I purchased this table over 2 years ago, so I've been living with it for a while now. Within the first month, the paint on the top chipped - and I rarely use this table because I rarely eat at home. I mean, you set your fruit bowl down a little too hard and the paint chips. Additionally, the metal base collects dust like a magnet.
However, the table still gets 2 stars because from afar (with paint chipping not visible), it looks good because it's a good style. I initially bought it because I wanted a white table with clean lines (like the Saarinen tulip table, but I was a law student, okay?), and that's exactly what it is.

My husband and I looked for over a month at local furniture stores and online stores for just the right dining table to fit in our smaller breakfast nook. Although hesitant to purchase something sight unseen, we were pleasantly surprised at the ease of assembly and the quality of the table. Due to previous reviews regarding scratching of the tabletop, we ordered a round piece of glass from a local glass store to sit on top of the table. Perfect solution.

I paired this table with 4 blue Jake chairs from Room & Board and it looks great. I wanted a smaller table for the kids to do their homework, play games, crafts, puzzles, etc and this table is perfect. Quality is awesome for the price. I can't comment on whether crayon and/or marker will clean up well yet. The kids have been good about that so far.
Definitely a "happy" feeling table.

I am using this as an office table with 4 white knoll office chairs. I am very pleased as it nicely complements the overall modern decor of my office. You can't beat the price and it has held up remarkably well since 2005!

This table is better then it looks - totally satisfies the desire for a tulip table look.. Modern, clean, I love the matte finish. In our kitchen we have this table with some room & board Jake chairs. Looks FABulous. I recommend.

We labored for months over which size and style Saarinen table best fit the intended corner of our kitchen. Also, whether we could afford it. Then this CB2 table came to our attention. Two and a half years later, I'm sure it was the right choice. And not only because the divots put in it by baby spoons would have been distressing (in the other sense of that word) had the table cost thousands rather than $179. It's a related if minor benefit that, because it is immediately obvious that this is not a real Knoll Saarinen, we feel no knockoff guilt.

I bought this table three years ago and it still looks stylish and is in good shape. A few scratches that leave a black mark but that is due to normal wear and tear. The table has worked in two different apartments and can be dressed up or down. Easy to disassemble/reassemble.
