I love the quality of these dishes and love the size of the dinner plates and soup bowls. Unfortunately, the dessert plates are so small (because of the rim) that they're not useable for breakfast/lunch plates. You can't even fit a sandwich on one. they would work for small desserts or appetizers but if you want them for salad or lunch, they won't work. Dishes came packed incredibly well...not a chip anywhere.

I had spent WAY too much time trying to find the perfect square white dinner plate.....THESE ARE IT! While I personally do not care for the square bowls. I absolutely LOVE these dishes. I ordered the salad/dessert plates as well. The quality is great, they are heavy, exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for a durable, heavy, square white dinner dish, these are perfect! We use them everyday!

This set is fabulous! It's generous sized dinner plate is understated simplicity, gorgeous. Eye catching angles on the rim and bowl along with corners on the plate makes this - a smash hit!

It is easy to see why this selection of dinnerware is CB's most popular. It is heavy duty and seems to be durable. I have always wanted a set of white dishes because I just love the way certain dishes look when plated against white at a dinner party. I think I may end up phasing out my old black and grey plates. Also, this collection gives you that high end look without the high end price tag. Way to go CB2!

I've been looking for plain white plates forever, and everything I found was either too frou-frou, too boring and plain, or too expensive. These dishes are perfect. The wide-rimmed square design is interesting without being distracting to the food. I'm a graduate student and these fit my price range well. I've had these plates about a month, and they arrived incredibly well packed with nothing broken, and they're heavy and seem to be pretty durable. The only negative (and this is really nit picky) is that the dishes aren't all entirely straight - when all the dishes are stacked, you can tell that some of the edges are bent a little bit. It's not at all noticeable when you're using a single plate, so I'm not too concerned. I highly recommend - I've gotten tons of compliments on them already.

I ordered and 8 place setting of these dishes for my Dinner on Christmas Eve. I was thrilled with the quality! I wanted the "heaviness" these dishes have! Everyone complimented my table throughout the Evening! It was a HIT! The large serving Platters and serving bowls were perfect size for our gathering. I just can't wait to host another dinner party! The plates are a bit bulky and heavy making them awkward for the microwave and dishwasher. The small bowls and plates are virtually useless unless you plan to have alot of appetizer parties. However, the set is very pretty and very well priced! Much like a high end restaurant.

I love the simple design of these serving platters/dishes, however they are much heavier than I would have liked. By themselves, they are already quite heavy, so with food inside, it takes 2 hands to carry each platter/dish. They seem to be made of durable porcelain though. We'll see if they stand the test of time....

Very substantial plates that are similar to the ones at trendy restaurants.
I only gave 4 stars because they are a bit large for every day use. As others noted they do not work well in the microwave. I purchased the atomic salad plates which are a more practical size for daily use.

Food appears so much more colorful and appetizing on these clean white plates. They fit perfectly in the cabinet and dishwasher, not in microwave. Everyone comments on them. Have the dessert plate and bowl also. Love them all.

I love these dishes! They are heavy and substantial and look great on my dining room table. They arrived promptly within in a day or two of my order wrapped in more material than I could have imagined. Out of 37 pieces only one arrived broken. It was replaced at no charge the very next day. Merry Christmas to me!

I never have enough place setting when the group gets larger. I ordered 16 large dinnerplates, salad plates, soup bowls, and the platter. I love them and so has anyone else who has seen them!
These dishes have such clean contemporary lines and will look great with sqaure chargers that I recently found. I was amazed by how well they were wrapped for shipping and arrived without a single chip.
I highly recommend these!

I bought them for Thanksgiving. They set a beautiful table. Very study but decorations and decor can change and the white makes everything an easy match. Love them Love them!!
