I got these because we like to eat alot of Asian inspired food (esp. sushi) and I thought it would be a nice change from chopsticks, because I can be pretty clumsy with them.
Pros: great look, very cute
Cons: Ends aren't tapered like regular chopsticks, so it's more difficult to pick up smaller bits of food. Also, they seemed to come uneven off the hinge while eating which again made them more difficult to eat with and gave them a cheap feel.
All in all, these are a good novelty item, but as far as practicality and use, I prefer regular chopsticks despite my clumsiness.
